Within these pages, you will find pictures, a Blogs, and other musings from me. I suppose posting this stuff will appear that I'm a narcissist, but…oh well. I just hope that you enjoy them.

Web Design

I use this website to practice my web design skills. I'm closely following the guidelines of World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), the body that specifies the "language" of the Web. It's written in XHTML 1.0 with Cascading Style Sheets. This will ensure that the pages are universally usable and accessible, regardless of the user's knowledge, abilities, or software.

I'm using Macromedia's Dreamweaver MX to design the site. Dreamweaver is probably the most popular web design tool out there. I also have the W3C's Amaya browser/editor, to check for compatibility.

Photography

I also use this site to improve my photographic skills, from composition, exposure, processing, film types; to scanning and digital manipulation. (You can read about my preference for film over digital in the Photography section of my website.)

I'm learning about digital photography using Adobe's Photoshop (probably the most popular graphic arts tool). I'm also trying Digital Light & Color's Picture Window.
