I've wanted to put pictures on the web for a long time, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to get a digital camera. Digital cameras are the hip thing to get right now, and I was strongly persuaded to jump onto the bandwagon.
But, I'm also a quality freak, and right now the resolution of point-and-shoot digital cameras can't compare to their film counterparts. However, film scanners have resolutions that rival the top-end digital cameras at a fraction of their cost.
So, the images you see here are taken on 35 mm film, then scanned into my computer at high-resolution using a film scanner. After some retouching, I've placed 'em here on the web for you to enjoy.
Yet I'm still learning how to do this right, so some of the images may not appear all that great. But I'm sure it can be done just click around photo.net, and just see how good photography can look on your monitor! Just make sure that your monitor is setup properly.
